Ridgeview Winery Tour - September 2025

20 members braved what initially looked like being challenging weather conditions to visit Ridgeview Vineyard today.
We learned about the history of Ridgeview and the processes involved in producing their award winning sparkling wine.
We managed to dodge the showers enough to actually see the grapes on the vine and followed this with visits to the wineries where the more detailed work takes place of actually turning them into wine.
It would have been rude not to sample the produce, so we then had the opportunity to try their 3 most popular wines together with a vintage one.
All in all a most delightful way to spend an afternoon, which ended with the sun finally popping its head out. - Julia Shaw
