As we look forward to the summer months, we thought you might enjoy a lunch beside the seaside.

Please note that this is a self-drive event.

The venue is The View Restaurant, at Seaford Head and the full address is Southdown Road, Seaford, East Sussex, BN25 4JS.

Please arrive by 12.15 p.m. to give yourselves time to park and make your way into the restaurant.

Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. and the bar will be open for any drinks you may wish to purchase.

We have arranged a three-course lunch with tea/coffee after the meal.

Please select your choices from the following menu and remember to notify us in advance of any special dietary requirements as the Chef is unable to make any changes to food requests on the day.

Starters:

• Leek and Potato Soup served with truffle oil & toasted gnocchi (SOUP)

• Smoked Salmon and prawn roulade served with cucumber chutney, citrus mayonnaise, herb salad & rice tuile (ROULADE)

• Ham Hock Terrine with pickled vegetables and a mustard dressing, served with toasted ciabatta (HAM HOCK)

• Roast Mediterranean Vegetable Terrine served with a cherry tomato confit, herb salad, & vegan pesto (VEG TERRINE)

Mains:

• Barley Herb Risotto served with roast courgette, parmesan crisp, & basil oil (RISOTTO)

• Roast Chicken Supreme served with a pea puree, mixed greens, confit potatoes, & thyme jus (CHICKEN)

• Belly of Pork served with black pudding, roast apple, fine beans, carrots, mashed potato, & sage jus (PORK)

• Roast Sirloin of Beef served with mixed greens, roast potatoes & red wine gravy (BEEF)

Desserts:

• Crème Brûlée with lemon shortbread (BRÛLÉE)

• Lemon Tart with Chantilly cream, & a berries compote (TART)

• A trio of Chocolate Desserts (CHOC)

The restaurant can seat 80 and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis as usual.

The cost for Members is £30 with Guests at £40, which includes lunch and staff tips.

Cheques will be banked on or around June payday.

N.B. Final numbers will be confirmed by 24/06/24 after which, we are unable to provide any refunds.
