We make a welcome return to the Oak Barn Restaurant, Burgess Hill for our summer BBQ. The full address of the venue is Cuckfield Road, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 8RE.

Because we had to cancel our Charity Dinner we have decided to use the BBQ as our fundraiser for the Hospice in the Weald. Raffle tickets will be on sale during the event at £5 per strip and we have some fantastic prizes on offer - click on the icon below for more details, which we hope will tempt you! However, if you are unable to attend the BBQ and still wish to support the charity by purchasing raffle tickets, you can send a cheque direct to Stephen Barnett and he will buy the tickets at the event for you.The raffle will be drawn the day after the event with winners personally notified by phone. A full list of winners will be published in the August newsletter.

Please arrive at 2 p.m., food service will begin at 2.45 p.m. and the event will finish by 6 p.m.

The BBQ includes the following selection of food:

Mains:

• Lamb Koftas with a mint yoghurt

• Lemon, Thyme & Honey Marinated Chicken Breast

• Cauliflower Steaks with a basil pesto

• King Prawn, Vegetable & Chorizo Skewers

Sides:

• Crusty Warm Bread with Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar

• Classic Greek Salad

• Chive & Onion Jersey Royal Potato Salad

Desserts:

• Exotic Fruit Salad

• Cheesecake

Special diets can also be catered for as long as you notify us in advance on your reply slip.

The cost for Members is £23 and Guests at £33, which includes the meal, entertainment and staff tips. Please confirm your attendance to Sue Russell by 16/07/21, enclosing a SAE or email address if an acknowledgement is required. Cheques will be banked during August.

N.B. Final numbers will be provided to the venue by 31/07/21 after which, we are unable to provide any refunds.
