"Robin Hood" Panto & Lunch - February, 2022

Well, they say laughter is the best medicine and Brick Lane Music Hall didn’t disappoint us!
The staff were very friendly as always, the food and service were up to the usual good standard and the performers put on a wonderful show for us all.
With colourful costumes, powerful singing and, of course, mischief galore from the cast – we were all in fits of laughter for most of the show and two of our Members got to see the whole show from the Royal Box no less! - Sue Russell.
“Many thanks Sue - it was superb and such fun! So well organised by you and a fantastic show! We haven't laughed so much in months! We both really enjoyed it and look forward future events with the Spread Eagles. With many thanks and kind regards." - Peter and Irene Willson
"Just to say thank you for the very enjoyable day yesterday; we were both touched to find we had been chosen as "King & Queen" for the day, although it made for some lengthy explanations to people who thought we were both celebrating our birthdays that day! We both enjoyed the performance and thought the food was good, too.” - David & Lynda Warburton

After a coffee break at Polhill Garden Centre, we arrive at Brick Lane just as they open

The Music Hall is based in an old Church in Docklands

Having had our temperatures checked, we start entering the Church

We were asked to "mask-up" whilst entering and moving around inside

The mural outside the entrance to the Church

We had tables allocated to us

We took our places as our lunch was going to be served before the Panto

Our "Royal" Couple take their place in the Royal Box

The Theatre was full to capacity, with over 200 people.

We caught up with news whilst waiting for lunch to be served

The stage curtains were closed, awaiting for the performance to start

In the meantime, the conversations continued

During the interval, we all compared notes on the first half of the Panto
