Mid-Summer BBQ - August, 2021

We had a wonderful afternoon at Oak Barn Restaurant for our Summer BBQ. The Chefs provided an excellent range of food, the service was very good and the staff were really pleased to have us.
As you know, we transferred the fund raising raffle from the cancelled Charity Dinner and are very pleased to report that we raised a whopping £1,150 for Hospice in the Weald.
Glen Goodall, the Charity Ambassador joined us for the event and gave a short presentation about the work of the Hospice. Thank you so much for your generosity in purchasing raffle tickets and giving personal donations.
The Hospice was nominated by Nigel Field and we know he would be very proud of the monies raised for such a worthwhile cause. The raffle was drawn after the event and all prize winners have been notified.- Sue Russell
"Thank you so much for all your hard work in planning today and for your support. It's much appreciated. It was great to meet you and Anne along with your group. Thank you for the lovely meal and for your kind hospitality." - Glen Goodall, Charity Ambassador for Hospice in the Weald
"Thanks for organising yesterday's lunch. It was really good and enhanced by contributing to such a good cause." - Val Bristow
