Autumn Break in Suffolk - October, 2020

Well we made it!
After several last minute changes to the itinerary, we were very relieved to be able to get away on our trip.
We spent Day 1 in Colchester and several of us visited the castle and museum while we were there. The weather brightened up significantly the following day, which made our visit to the National Horseracing Museum, Newmarket all the more enjoyable.
It was great to see one of the retired race horses being put through her paces and to learn all about how many horses begin new careers after their racing lives, often as therapy horses.
Our final day was spent in Bury St. Edmunds with a couple of excellent guides on a walking tour of the city.
It was so good to see members together again and enjoying each other’s company.- Sue Russell
"So nice to get away and meet up again with members." Doug & Trudy Stewart
"Thank you for all your hard work and perseverance with this trip - much appreciated and we have thoroughly enjoyed it." Terry & Hazel Schooley
