Chenies Manor House & Gardens - August, 2018
After a good journey on the motorway, we arrived early at Chenies which meant we could all enjoy our morning refreshments without being rushed.
Three guides emerged to take us on a tour of the house – all of whom were very informative and entertaining.
We enjoyed a light lunch in the tea room with plenty of time to explore the pretty gardens before heading home. - Sue Russell
"Just to thank you for arranging a lovely day out yesterday, the weather was perfect to see those lovely gardens and interesting Manor House. The journey time was just about right too, and I am sure everyone enjoyed themselves." - Pam & Stan Bryant
"Another great day out. You know how to pick the weather too! It was fantastic to walk on floorboards that were trodden on by Elizabeth 1st. Fascinating brickwork & ornate chimneys. Some of us adventurous types conquered the maze!” - Doreen & John Tessier
"Thanks Sue for all your hard work - again, it really was a lovely day. What a beautiful place to visit and we arrived home much earlier than I expected to!” - Dilys Ellerton
