Summer Theatre Trip - July, 2018
We ventured into new territory for this trip, in more ways than one!
The Watermill Theatre was a big hit with everyone, lunch was excellent and the service very efficient. Thanks to Christine Goose for suggesting it.
Jasper Britton, whose acting was brilliant, played the lead character Johnny “Rooster” Byron – a slurring, red-faced, black-finger nailed Hell’s Angel of sorts in leathers.
The story was powerful, dark at times and yet very comical – all in one play. I believe we all now have several new swear words in our vocabulary – not all of which we understand! - Sue Russell
